I don’t consider myself a big gamer, but with last week’s coverage of Xbox from Jordan, I thought I would chime in with the other big system (I know, I know, Nintendo fans, that platform is still out there, feel free to submit your article to me… seriously).

Instead of focusing on a few games, I thought I would just drop in this trailer and let you make your own decisions.

A lot of this stuff seems like the same-old, same-old, to me, but I know that I am not of the demographic to seek out a bunch of these games. Still, regardless of what you think on some of these, the trailers all look fantastic.

Days Gone looks fantastic, God of War looks intriguing, The Last Guardian looks gorgeous, Here They Lie looks terrifying, but the big winner, from my point of view, is Horizon: Zero Dawn. It’s one of those ideas that is so cool, I wish I had thought of it! Let’s hope it lives up to what it could be.

I would like to note that I am concerned about all these virtual reality games that are being released. Any VR I have ever tried gives me a splitting headache and the experience is never any good for me. Farpoint, Batman: Arkham VR, and Final Fantasy VR hold absolutely zero interest for me, because of this. I’ll probably try the system out, if I have the chance, but if this is the future of gaming, I may have to consider myself less of a gamer than I already do.

At least I’ll have Horizon.
