‘Doc Palindrome is about being geeky in anything and everything.’

This was the phrase I used to start this site back in 2014. At the time, it was about the most I wanted to communicate with the world, but I’m kind of past that.

2016 was a shock for me. Someone whom I had been actively avoiding for most of my life had been elected as the leader of the nation in which I reside. For the last few years, writing about geeky stuff has seemed less and less interesting, to me.

The world is a different place, and there’s no use denying it.

2017 saw me lose a job that I put a lot of myself into and 2018 felt like my partner and I were just rebuilding our lives.

2019 killed my mom.

Fuck the last decade. It tried to beat me and it didn’t and it didn’t beat you either. Let’s teach this brand new decade who’s boss, one snarky comment at a time!

If you’re interested in writing anything that resembles political, social, or general entertainment parody, then shoot me a message and I can give you a forum. While I definitely lean on my left side (it’s good for digestion), I’m not opposed to well-researched, considered points of view that are alternate to mine.
