Spindrift: One Year Later

I’m proud to say that I was apart of the original writers for DocPalindrome.

I’ve had the chance to connect with so many interesting people over the course of a year and I’m looking forward to what’s to come. I’m also proud to say that I’m the only writer who hasn’t missed an article and I hope to continue that streak. That means that every week for the last year I’ve had an article published, and that’s exciting. My talents have grown from experience and the help of my ally writers here on DocPalindrome. They inspire me to write and I’d like to think that inspire them. I can only see us growing in the future and I think the longer we go the faster we will expand. As far as I can tell perseverance equals success.

I’ve been trying hard to create content that I enjoy making, and you the reader enjoy as well. If there’s anything that you’d like to see me do in the future, I’d love to hear your suggestions. I’m also in the works of starting a YouTube channel with a friend of mine so keep your eyes out for that. If I do go through with the YouTube channel it will not impede on my writing so, do not worry.

I feel like it would be interesting giving my readers a fun fact about myself in honor of this one-year anniversary, therefore I’m going to tell you where the title for my column, Spindrift, came from. Jesse had told me that I needed a column name but I came up empty. When I asked my friend for a name (the same one who I’m starting the YouTube channel with) he told me I should call it Spindrift. When I asked him why he chose that name he told me that a spindrift is spray blown from the crests of waves by the wind. He said that I could spray the truth myself. As you can see I liked that name.

I can’t wait to see the state of this website 4/20/17 (and no we won’t be smoking weed. The fact that we started the website on 4/20 was pure coincidence.) Entertainment will never stop being produced and I will never stop having an opinion on it. For those of you who read my first article I want to thank you for truly turning this hobby into a lifestyle…
